omg. I swear October just started 5 minutes ago. Am I right? When I wrote October NINTH on the board today, I did a gasp. I can't believe how fast everything is going. Life...slow down.
And of course that means I am nine days late with doing my October Currently. Grrr. I thought I was gonna stay on top of this! Better late than never:
Listening- I never get to watch shows the night that it comes on. I always have to tell my friends "stop I haven't seen it yet" when they reference something crazy from one of our shows. Selfie is an okay show... it's good background noise for when you are working on other stuff.
Loving- I found some too-good-to-pass-up deals with May Designs and ordered 3 Christmas presents already. If you've never heard of May Books, you are truly missing out! Check out their site here!
Thinking- I don't think Mr. R and I have spent a Friday night together since school started. Between soccer games, girls nights, and just other random events, we finally get a Friday Date Night tomorrow. We're doing two of our favorite things: eating BBQ and watching a Scary Movie. Perfecto!
Wanting- Our Save the Dates to arrive! I'm not mailing them until December, but if you know me, you know that I'm a plan ahead type of gal. I ordered them yesterday and I can't stop checking my email to see if they have shipped. I can't wait to see how they turned out!
Needing- It is super hard to plan a wedding when you work such long hours. All of the places are closed by the time I have a chance to call them. Tomorrow I'm setting aside some time right after 3:30 to call a caterer I've been chatting with and a DJ I've heard about. Then it's time for another school meeting because I am officially a Mentor Teacher! I'm working with a 4th grade first year teacher who teaches some of my most favorite students ever. Can't wait to go observe her class (and my old kiddos).
Treat- I'm gonna be honest here... I haven't mastered the "cute but also academic" printables yet. I'll get there one day, but for now I'll just settle for making my own printable monograms. So my treat for you is a website with some AWESOME elementary school teacher costume ideas. Click here for the costumes!
Thanks Farley for the monthly link-up. November 1st, I'm coming for ya.
Have (almost) FRIDAY!
Love the teacher costume idea, but there are a few that look like a ton of work. Very cute Ideas. The Kindergartners in my school has a circus and they are the animals so we,(Teachers) make homemade colorful dotted sweatshirts.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the wedding plans.
I am going to have to check out the May Books! I've not heard of that before.
