August is like one Long Sunday Night....

I. am. exhausted. I haven't left this school before 6:30pm any this week. But it is officially go time. I had Open House last night and now I'm passing out class books to my kiddos from last year. It's so good to see some familiar faces tonight :)


Listening: So many old kiddos in here talking to me and checking out the new room. I love seeing my old students!

Loving: My classroom! Blog post to come soon with the classroom reveal!

Thinking: It just took me 45 full minutes to make my copies for next week. So many journals and booklets to make. Mother Earth, I am so sorry for taking so many trees. I promise to recycle for the rest.of.my.life.

Wanting: This weekend I'm heading to Lake Lure with the family to have one last summer vacay and to go to the Dirty Dancing Festival. I am super excited!!

Needing: More Sleep. 'nuf said.

Back to School Random Act of Kindness: I'm working on it, but I can't say what it is just yet!

    I think the exact same thing when I'm making copies of benchmark assessments! I hear you on the sleep...Can never get enough!

    I'm saying sorry to the trees too. My printer is not happy with me! I also have to say that I'm jealous of your fun weekend plans. The lake and a festival sound exactly like my kind of weekend. Add Dirty Dancing!?! Ha! Have fun!
