It's almost CHRISTMAS!

I am PUMPED for Christmas! I've been making my lists and checking them twice! I started our Christmas Break countdown at school today. 12 (now 11 days to go). That's great right?! But really whatt that means is 7 days until the worst week of your life. The week when Santa is literally one leg out of the door and your students have completely checked out and you just go on survival mode. If you've never taught the week before Christmas, then have you even really experienced stress? I don't think so. And somebody this year thought it would be grand to come to the school the MONDAY and TUESDAY before Christmas. Clearly that person should be on the naughty list. I know I'm not the only one because I found this oh-so-true meme:

We don't even have time to pay attention to the date on the calendar because we are learning, learning, learning up in Room 145. Let me get to what I came here for: my December Currently from Oh' Boy 4th Grade!

Listening- I used to be a Pandora fanatic, but Mr. R has really gotten me into Spotify. I love that I can type in pretty much any song and add it to my playlist.

Loving- CHRISTMAS. Everything about it!

Thinking- My puppy is 4 years old. But he's young at heart, so he acts like he's 1 year old and that's okay because he's the cutest little thing I've ever seen in my life. About a year ago I called Petsmart to make an appointment for Cooper. I was shocked, just SHOCKED I tell ya, when they told me that he was on a list to where he can only come on Monday nights because, well... he's a little on the wild side and they are not able to have him in there when they are busy. I like to think that means they just want to give all of their attention to him, because he deserves it. After that fateful appointment last year, I was told that he had sort of the reputation there. I think that comes from his dad's side. ;)

Wanting- Today was the most Mondayest Monday ever. MAP testing didn't quite work out and well, I just want to see my kids data. I'm ready to see all of the growth my little smarties have made! I'll just have to wait until Wednesday!

Needing- Every time I check off one thing, I add two more things. Feeling like a full time college student working a full time job over here. Send help. Or just a vacation day.... Better yet, just send me a Peppermint Mocha.

Real- I will NEVER have a fake Christmas tree in my house. Go real, or go home!
