Boy, it's been a loooooooong week (notice the extra o's). 3-8 grade had PASS writing on Tuesday and Wednesday. We're lucky because 2nd grade doesn't have to take it, right? WRONG. We're basically locked in our class all day... no specials... no recess, but thank goodness for our PE Coach who let us bring our kids to run for 10 minutes at the end of the day. Not to mention, we're in the 4 week stretch before spring break when all of the kids start getting really tired of each other. Save the drama for your llama, kids.
Monday was St. Patrick's Day and a short ginger man (I'm not talking about you, Mikel) came and destroyed our classroom! I love surprising the kiddos on his holiday!
I ordered these little beauties this week. My own Cupcakes and Bangles business cards- woo hoo! Officially official, yall! Check my shop out at www.etsy.com/shop/cupcakesandbangles
Well, technically this happened 2 weeks ago, but we found out some good news this week- PALOOZATHON! Our school did a fun run where students need to collect pledges of money for each lap they run. We worked hard to get our donations and it paid off in the end. We earned the MOST MONEY out of the WHOLE SCHOOL. I'm talking K-11th grade. Yes!!!
Friday's rock. But they rock even more now that I get to play Kickball with my fellow teachers every Friday night. We started a team this season and although we haven't won yet, I sure have had a lot of laughs! Go Kickin' Grass! (That's me and my boy on the right... yep, we're playing together. We're both way too competitive for our own good. No fights......yet.)
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! I can't wait for my sweet lake picnic tomorrow!
