Five for Friday

I am finally finding time to link up for the Five for Friday Linky Party with Doodle Bugs Teaching.

This is currently what my desk looks like. Anybody else's? Grades are due on SUNDAY at noon? What in the world? So my Sunday night ritual of grading until the cows come home had to be a little altered. Say hello to "grade as much as possible before you leave school on Friday.

Character Counts week starts next Monday! In honor of this week, I finally hung up the cutie patootie Character Counts display that I bought from The Punkin Teaches. I've gotten lots of compliments on this display!

Oh my goodness! I am so excited about participating in SLANT box! I've been partnered up with two fellow bloggers this month. One will send me a box of goodies and I will send the other one a box of goodies. I can hardly wait to send my box and receive one too! Check it out at Lessons with Coffee.

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I signed up for the Color Run. Oh I know.... PAINT!! I'm beyond excited. But honestly, they should call it The Color Do Whatever You Want. I'm going to run.... but for how long is what I'm not sure about. I'll be sure to post some after pics!

I mean seriously.... is there anything more sweet than cuddling up with your favorite boys? This was how I started my week on Sunday. Please know this was around 1pm. There's nothing greater than a Sunday afternoon nap. Love that coach and westie.

Alright, I did it! My first linky party! I feel accomplished. Now I'm off to create a will in case I don't make it out of the color run alive :)

  1. I had so much fun with the SLANT box last month! This month's theme is a lot easier too! So have fun with it :) :)... I love the picture of your "Sleepy Heads" that looks a lot like my household only both my dogs don't know much about personal space.

Looks like a great week :)
Such a super cute blog! Glad I found it through the link up this week!

    1. I am happy to hear about another teacher who loves the SLANT box! I know what you mean about not knowing personal space. My dog sleeps on top of my head every night! I'm on my way to check out your blog too :)

  3. I love the character traits! We started a year long program school-wide and each month focus on a different character trait... I just write it on the board, but I may have to run over and get those cute signs :)

    Hope your grading goes quickly!
